As part of the original hippie skunkworks crew from Encinitas, John O’Malley, along with friend Jack Graham, created the first skate parks during the rebirth of skateboarding in 1975, launching the modern skate movement. John recounts the Revolution and all those involved in his new book, Urethane Revolution, due to be published on April 22. The story is a wild ride, complete with two car crashes, two plane crashes, a massive truck bomb, the Mafia, a fortuneteller, miracles, and more.

Urethane Revolution is available for pre-order on Amazon. John will be signing copies of the book at The Roxy on May 1 from 6 to 9 p.m.
