Bruno is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 1-year-old, 63-pound male German Shepherd.

Bruno is fully grown, but still very much a puppy. He didn’t get very much socialization or training in his previous home. Then his owner moved to a place that doesn’t allow pets. Now Bruno is looking for a new family and a new home where he can start his life over. He’s a very smart dog. The care providers in the kennels say that Bruno learns new things quickly and that he bonds with the people he meets almost immediately. He’ll need positive reinforcement to boost his confidence. He’s going to be a loving and devoted dog for years to come.

The $145 adoption fee for Bruno includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log onto SDpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday.
