Coastal Roots Farm will host its annual Sukkot Festival on Sunday, Oct. 8 from 2 to 6:30 p.m. The festival is the farm’s biggest event of the year, celebrating the Jewish tradition of gathering community outdoors to mark the end of summer harvest and welcome the rainy season.

Highlights of the festival include: four original sukkah structures; communal ritual around singing, lulav shaking, and tasting the fall harvest; soil exploration, art, story recording, and instrument design; cooking workshops; live music; ambrosia garden with beer, mead, and kombucha; local food vendors; farm tours and education; and more!

The event is open to all ages for a suggested donation of $18 for adults and $9 for children. Tickets are available on a pay-what-you-can basis. Register at www.coastalrootsfarm.org.
