Fay is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 6-year-old, 28-pound Terrier mix.

The care providers and volunteers in the kennels describe Fay as “a ray of sunshine on the cloudiest day.” When Fay is happy, her goal is to please everyone that she comes in contact with throughout the day. You should know that if you sit down, there’s a very good chance that Fay will want to sit on your lap. If it’s okay with you….she might even want to give you a kiss. Since Fay is such a happy dog, she wants to make sure that everyone around her is just as happy. She needs a family that will continue her training, show her what’s expected, and give her plenty of positive reinforcement for her good behavior.

Fay was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS program.

The $145 adoption fee for Fay includes medical exam, vaccinations, spay, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday.
