The 20th Annual Encinitas Oktoberfest, held in late September in 92024, proved to be an excitement-filled day for all ages. Despite the heat, at least 15,000 guests from Encinitas and surrounding communities attended to enjoy a day of brew, food, and German-themed festivities. Throughout the afternoon guests were treated to live musical entertainment, Bavarian dancers, stein-holding contests, games, a parade, and much more.

The event was family-friendly and included a Kids Funzone, family food and entertainment tent, and up to 200 vendors in the marketplace. For those 21 and over, the Craft Beer Garden was provided in true Oktoberfest fashion. “This yearly event is all about the community and celebrating the German roots of Encinitas,” shared Encinitas Chamber of Commerce Administrator Mimi Gattinella. The event serves as the largest annual fundraiser for the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, with proceeds going toward advocating for local community businesses throughout the year.
