TPHS Student Earns Prestigious Scholarship
Leading Note Studios teacher and Torrey Pines High School senior Autumn Raynne Murphy was awarded the prestigious Native American Scholarship for the University of Denver, which covers all expenses for the entire four academic years. This award is given to one applicant per year by the University of Denver. The decision is based on academic standing and an essay focusing on how the student will give back to their Native American community while at the University. Autumn, an accomplished cello player, intends to create a program for Native American middle and high school students that will help to develop interest and skills in engineering, science, and audio production.
