Squee is the pet of the week at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS). She’s a 14-year-old, 7-pound, spayed, female, Short Haired Tabby cat.

According to RCHS, Squee and her 20-year-old brother arrived at RCHS for temporary care when their owner fell on hard times and was not able to care for them. Her brother died of age-related complications, leaving Squee alone and in need of a new home. RCHS Public Relations Director John Van Zante shared, “She loves people and other cats. She still has plenty of energy to play. But when it’s time for a nap Squee is happy to lie next to you and cuddle. She’s very small, so she would be ideal for a quiet, more mature home. She doesn’t ask for much. But no matter how much you give her, Squee will give you more.”

Squee’s $75 adoption fee includes medical exam, vaccinations, spay, and microchip. Find your best friend at RCHS in Encinitas or log on to www.sdpets.org. Call 760-753-6413 for more information. Kennels and Cattery are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.Wednesday through Monday.
