This is Encinitas life! at Moonlight Beach Fest is almost here. Enjoy a day with activities including the Surfing Madonna beach run/walk, the Science of Surf and Skate arena, Waterman Lifestyle exhibit sand sculpture and live art, a just-for-kids zone, live local musical artists on the main stage, local organic food, community, and of course, a day at Moonlight Beach, at the cove, on the sand.

When asked what you can expect at this year’s Moonlight Beach Fest, Parks and Recreation Director Lisa Rudloff said, “It’s all about Encinitas life. We are putting a spotlight on fun, and recreation with a unique twist by working in partnership with the local Surfing Madonna Ocean’s Project non-profit organization. Bob Nichols, Mark Patterson, Megan McCarthy and the rest of the Surfing Madonna Save Our Oceans team have worked hard to ensure that money raised from their efforts is given back to the community by funding exciting, local beach and ocean related projects. It’s really great to see the community come together to support the event.”
