This year’s Encinitas Environmental Day (EED), which takes place on June 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cottonwood Creek Park, centers around the theme of water conservation. This marks the eighth year of community progress for EED and its influence on environmentalism in the area. This year, “save green by saving blue” will encourage people to be aware of water and the important role it plays in our communities and lives.

EED invites businesses and organizations that would like to participate in this year’s event to register online at www.eeday.org and fill out an exhibitor application. The application is also available at www.artisteyeevents.wufoo.com/forms/encinitas-environment-day-2014.
