Come celebrate the aphid loving ladies at Ladybug Day on April 5 at the San Diego Botanic Garden (SDBG) from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Learn new fun facts about ladybugs while partaking in hands-on educational activities. The day will include several activities throughout the garden such as searching for ladybugs, children’s crafts, an opportunity for children to create fresh flower bouquets, and a ladybug release. Children are welcome to wear their cutest ladybug or insect costume!

The final activity, ladybug release, includes releasing hundreds of ladybugs into the Garden where they will help manage insect pests in the area and help preserve the Garden’s landscapes.
