The North Coast Symphony, under the direction of Daniel Swem will present “Soloists’ Spotlight” on Sunday, June 2 at 2:30 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Seacoast Community Church, 1050 Regal Road, Encinitas, CA. The program includes Rota’s Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra with David Colborn, soloist, Saint-Saens’ Romance Pour Cor featuring English horn player Larry Jellison, “Winter” from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with violinist Annette Gardner, Berlioz’ Roman Carnival Overture and Elgar’s Enigma Variations. The suggested donations are $10 general, $8 seniors and students, and $25 for families of 3 or more. The orchestra is funded in part by the City of Encinitas and the Mizel Family Foundation.
